Meet the PTA

PTA President

Michelle Sinclair and her husband Brian have two kids at Beech Tree--Henry (5th grade) and Edward (3rd grade)--and their oldest, James, is in 7th grade at Glasgow Middle School. Michelle got involved with the PTA because James wanted a school Olympics, and because she gains energy from working together with parents and teachers to build great memories and learning experiences for our children and school community. She works full time in advertising at The Washington Post.

Ivonne Charbonneau and her husband have two kids at Beechtree: Duke (5th grade) and Maxwell (3rd grade).  Their youngest son is 2.5 years old and loves supporting his big brothers at Beechtree events.  Ivonne got involved with the PTA because she loves school and making fun memories.  She wants to help students, teachers and the Beechtree community with this as best she can!  She is also an officer in the US Space Force and enjoys talking about the mission and sharing stickers with the kids!

Jenna McCoy is mom to Gwen McCoy (3rd Grader) and Grace Jo McCoy (Kindergarten). She is also a mom to another future Beech Tree Beaver, Sybil (2.5 years). Their favorite activities are the Beech Tree Olympics and the Fun Fair. She's excited for a great year!

PTA VP of Communications

Stephanie Burchard and her husband, Colin Anderson, have two sons: Ira (First Grade) and Ezra (Pre-school). Her sons are her life. Her career is her life. And her life is her life. She joined the PTA because she strongly believes in high quality public education and service to the community. She holds a Ph.D. in political science, works in national security, and is an adjunct faculty member at George Washington University.

Social Media Chair

Meara Glover (rhymes with Sarah, think “Bear-a”) and her daughters, Elisa “Ellie” and Sylvie, are thrilled to be part of the Beech Tree community, joining in 2025!

Meara has spent most of her career teaching and leading in schools. She was also an active member of her daughters’ daycare parent committee and now serves as a Girl Scout leader for two troops. At Beech Tree, she supports the PTA through social media communications and is always happy to hear ideas, suggestions, or offers to help!

Meara looks forward to connecting with fellow Beech Tree families and looks forward to seeing families and staff at PTA meetings, events, and activities throughout the year. She believes the best school communities are built when the community comes together. 

Spirit Wear Chair

Meghan Peters and her husband Aaron have 2 kids at Beech Tree, Quinn (4th Grade) and Reagan (3rd Grade). Meghan got involved with the PTA to support our students, parents, and teachers by fostering an environment in which we are able to enhance our learning and development for our students, provide our teachers with additional resources, share ideas and build relationships with other parents. Meghan is a CPA and works full time in Operational Risk Management.
